Galaxy S Plus User Interface

Gadget Blog - The home screen adjusts to 7 components that can be easily managed. Zoom in by pinching the screen you get to the mode where you can add, delete and rearrange the windows as you want to change. The system tray, you have to pull up on the screen a few visual changes, seen as the update gingerbread, but no new features. You can turn on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, sound and automatically rotate on and off. You can also find information about active connections and missed events.




The main menu is essentially unchanged from the original Galaxy S, except that the symbols have lost their color backgrounds to look a lot less iPhone-like. The menu is scrollable page, fixed with a 4 x 4 grid of icons on either side of the four icons at the bottom visible at all times. You can also view a list. Reorganization of the applications is very simple - in edit mode, simply drag an icon where you want it to be placed. In relation to the wallpaper, you get the standard gallery with a collection of live background images and static, that no change since the time of the Galaxy S. saw some of them are pretty cool on the screen SuperAMOLED but they tend to have the battery discharges.

Samsung has long been added a task manager to start their TouchWiz. Complete with a home screen widget that shows the number of active applications, it saves you the need for a killer job to install on your own. More power side of the Galaxy S is smooth and very accommodating, and we had no delay. You can scratch that one on the 1.4-GHz processor, because it manages the user interface without a hitch. In terms of synthetic benchmarks more the Galaxy is far ahead of the original Galaxy S. 1GHz-run with the 1.4 GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipset MSM8255T, the commercial version of the Galaxy S, Galaxy more better than the S origin in almost all benchmarks we ran.
